Illustrateur: E. Stuart Hardy (1866-1935)

Evelyn Stuart Hardy est issue d'une famille anglaise d'artistes: fille de David Hardy et soeur cadette de Paul Hardy.

Illustratrice et peintre, elle est active de 1890 à 1920 environ, et signe de ses initiales ESH.

Elle illustre de nombreux ouvrages pour le compte d'Ernest Nister, éditeur et imprimeur allemand, installé en Bavière et à Londres.
